The Best Camera…

…is the one you have with you!

Last weekend, Tom was away for a night, so Emily and I had a “sleepover” in the our big bed. When I woke up in the morning, she was sleeping beside me so sweetly, and her tender, innocent face reminded me of when she was little. Going to get the big camera would have at the very least stirred her, so I quietly reached for the only camera I had, my iPhone. I had to flip the camera view to face us so I could get her composed properly in the viewfinder (which apparently degrades the image quality), and the room was still fairly dark so the shot is grainy and awful. But I know I will love this photo forever, just the same…
