The second half of our trip was fantastic with Daddy at our side!
(And a typical view of me on the trip–behind the camera–LOL! Tom took this one…)
And I just have to say, the World of Color was every bit as spectacular as I’d heard–we LOVED it! I was surprised though at how damp we got–we had Premium Seating (from ordering dinner in the park) but still chose to sit a little bit back, and the people who sat in front were SOAKED! I found myself protecting my camera srom the heavy mist more than once. But it was awesome!
(And for those of you who are fellow camera geeks, I have to say that I am even more in love with my Mark III than I was before! I used the Tamron Tamron 28-300 variable-aperture lens for the bulk of the trip, and it was wonderful. The camera was fantastic in low light, and the auto white balance was spot on the majority of the time. The camera did search for focus on occasion in low light, but toggling over to a crosshair point nearly always allowed it to find focus. It allowed me to get so many images that would have been impossible before. I couldn’t be happier!)
