Creativity Exercise | Food Photography

This month our little group tackled food photography! It’s definitely something I need to work on, but it was fun trying, especially because Emily made me cupcakes to work with, which then of course SOMEONE had to eat!

And just for fun, here’s a pullback of my window set-up because it kind of cracks me up! I rarely shoot in my kitchen because I kinda hate it—it’s in dire need of a makeover with its peeling oak cabinets and huge dirty beige tile with brown grout–sigh… But I was tired of my other window that I sometimes do kitchen-type shoots in and wanted a change. So this is what I came up with:
