This month our Creativity blog circle’s theme was to shoot from an interesting, unique perspective. And this month I learned, once again, that I am not good at thinking outside the box. Everything I tried that seemed unique or interesting in my head just looked really lame, confusing, or awkward (sometimes all three at once!) through the viewfinder. So I scurried back into my comfort zone and shot flowers. I shot our prairiefire crabapple tree in the front yard. It’s such a beautiful little tree, and its blooming always marks the start of spring for me, which is my favorite time of year! I tried shooting the blooms from below rather than getting the same old front-of-flower-views I normally do, and I tried getting some sun directly in a few of the images to at least make them a little different…
Now please continue around our little circle to see what the fabulous Christina came up with for her unique perspective!
