I’ve decided that for this blog circle, I am going to try to get out my Lensbaby for at least a few shots most times I get out my camera. It means that my images for these posts will often be somewhat visually disjointed, but it will be lots more practice, which is my ultimate goal this year—to get super familiar with the Lensbaby. So, with that caveat, here’s what I came up with this month.
My all-time favorite flower, peonies. I even had them in my wedding bouquet (more (non-Lensbaby) peony images here)!
And one evening we had a date night, and I brought my camera and only the Lensbaby (I love that my husband is so understanding of the ever-present camera!):
Yesterday morning I got up early to get some work done before the rest of the house woke up and the day began, and as I was walking back past the back yard I saw the morning sunlight streaming through the dewy spiderweb that was covering my birdfeeder (guess I should clean it and refill it with actual bird food!). I used the 4x macro converter for this one.
And lastly, I did a shoot for tomorrow’s portrait blog post (“Moody Black and Whites”), and at the end of the shoot I snapped one with the Lensbaby:
