This month was fun, because Emily and I found this beautiful black lace at a fabric shop a while back, and I have been wanting to figure out what to do with it. We were also practicing with her hair for her middle school graduation ceremony, and to match her vintage-looking dress she wanted a kind of retro hair style, which went perfectly with the lace! So we did a trial run with her hair and did the photo shoot.
I think this one might be my favorite, or perhaps the color one below:
And I am cheating a bit here by including a color image, but for some reason I think this one just needs the creamy, soft color.
As always, please continue on in our little circle to see what moodiness Amber found this month!!
Ooohh so pretty! Love what you did here with the lace and adding dimension to the image. These are gorgeous as always.
That is so cool Jessica. What a creative way to add depth.
These are beautiful, Jessica! I love the use of the lace. I’ve used white lace before, and hadn’t thought about black- what a great idea!
You are always so creative with using different elements in your pictures. I would never have thought about shooting through black lace. Perfection! And as always, your daughter is gorgeous!
I showed this to my kids and they said that next time they want me to shoot them through a big thick towel….you are so lucky to have such a cute, patient and willing model! Your idea of shooting through the lace is really cool and you always surprise me with your creativity. Hope your daughter had a wonderful graduation!
These are beautiful Jessica!!! Love that you thought to shoot through the lace & the results are fantastic!
These are beautiful, I love the texture the lace adds to the photos!
