Through the Lensbaby | October

Since it’s Halloween this month, we decided to do a mask shoot with a mask we found about a year ago. I haven’t had my Edge 80 for very long, so I practiced with that optic only—in fact, when we went out to shoot, that was the only one I brought with me so I wouldn’t even be tempted to switch back if I got frustrated! That optic behaves very differently from the optics with a sweet spot, like my 35 and 50. But I can already tell I am going to love it—especially once I am better able to understand where it will focus when I tilt the lens this way and that!
