13 from ’13!

This is my third year of doing this (here are 2011 and 2012), and I always love to look back on my year so I’ve decided to keep it an annual thing. (Plus, I will get to add one more image every year—this time I only have to narrow to 13 instead of to 12!)

My favorites aren’t all perfect images, but they are all perfect memories, and that’s what matters! Here they are, in the order they were taken:

And this one is our annual card photo, which I never actually used because I skipped cards this year for the first time ever. I don’t plan for it to be a new trend, but I will admit, though I absolutely missed being able to say a quick hello to friends and family I don’t see as often, it was freeing to have one less thing to do during a crazy season!

And as an honorary mention, Emily wanted me to include this one, which is what I hope one day will be a good memory but at the moment is a reminder of a kitchen remodel that has gone very, very wrong but that we hope that there will be a satisfactory solution for in the not too distant future! Sigh…

And as before, I love for Emily to include her favorite of her own images, too, and this year her favorite of hers is also my favorite of hers!
