I have always loved that my birthday is in March, because in March in California the flowers really start to bloom; life is crisp and bright and cheerful. Oh, and there’s Pi. ;-P
This month Tom and I had a wonderful date wine tasting in a whole new area (this is just an iPhone selfie): in the Livermore Valley. It was gorgeous! We (as is usual for us) got a bit of a late start and only had time for three wineries, but it was so pretty and so much fun that we will absolutely be heading out there again to check out more of the over 40 wineries that are roughly an hour from our house. (Why we have never thought of this before is beyond me, but thank you, Jennifer, for the perfect idea for date day!)
And on the Ultimate Pi Day, we of course had pie. Not quite at 9:26 am, but still…
The next morning Ralph brought this to coffee, so we got to have even more pie!
Emily and I had several study dates this month at a new, quieter place, and I managed to get somewhat caught up on my endless to do list (which, of course, has since become endless again, but at least now I have hope…) (Also an iPhone pic!)
And today I went with my friend Kathy to one of my favorite places to photograph, Filoli. And I am teaching Kathy to shoot in manual mode (AND I got her back-button-focusing today, too—she’s a natural!), and she is picking it up so fast!!!! I can’t wait to see her shots from today.
Please join me in continuing around our little circle! Next up is Amber.
Oh my goodness, your images of flowers are so gorgeous! I love your mix of camera images and iphone images. I hope you had a wonderful birthday!!!
That pie looks delicious!!! Love seeing all the fun you have had this month from wine tasting, to pie, to flowers!!
Loved that you used your iPhone for some of the images this month. I always hate my iPhone pictures and am so jelly when people get such good images. The flowers are so beautiful.
So much beauty and so much to be grateful for my friend. I hope you had a wonderful birthday!! xoxo
